Short Biography

Jenny is a Computational Biology and Bioinformatics student at ETH and joined the Interface Group for her Lab Rotation and Master’s thesis in February 2025. Her research focuses on analyzing high-frequency biosignals from intensive care unit patients and developing methods to remove artifacts from the data. The goal of her thesis is to create algorithms or machine learning models that can automatically filter out these artifacts. The project is a collaboration between the Interface Group and the Neurocritical Care Unit of the University Hospital Zurich, co-supervised by Prof. Vartan Kurtcuoglu and Prof. Emanuela Keller.
